Roper Kia is looking for an Automotive Parts Specialist for a full time position that is a hard working, enthusiastic team player.

Responsibilities to include

• Working hand in hand with service advisors, and technicians to build accurate price quotes making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department, or parts invoices.
• Assist with daily inventory, receiving, stocking and shipping.
• Referring to parts manuals (electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.
• Help maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the parts counter, work area and stockroom.
• Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.

• Previous parts advisor experience or automotive experience a plus but not required
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Ability to complete tasks in a fast paced work environment
• Possess a valid drivers license

The right candidate must be able to multitask between servicing technicians, retail counter and phone orders while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude. If candidate has experience in the automotive industry, in either the aftermarket or dealership, that is preferred! Dealership software experience a plus. Must be able to work some Saturdays with a scheduled day off during the week when applicable.
